Parcel Pilot Play

Parcel Pilot

Special delivery, by air.

Fly a chunky red air-mail biplane between ten floating islands at golden hour. Thread the hoop, keep the tip, beat the clock.

Free, no install. Keyboard or gamepad; a desktop browser works best.

How it plays

One shift, two to five minutes

You start with 90 seconds on the clock and a parcel in the rack. Every delivery hands you the next one, and every delivery buys you more time.

  1. No. 1

    Read the tag

Every shift starts at Post Office Peak. The tag at the bottom of the screen tells you where the parcel is going, how far it is, and what the tip is worth. The tip starts full and drains while you fly, so don't sightsee.

  2. No. 2

    Ride the rings

Hold Shift to boost: the field of view stretches, speed lines streak past and the engine note climbs. The blue rings strung along the busy routes top your boost back up.

  3. No. 3

    Thread the hoop

Each island has a glowing hoop. Fly through it and the parcel goes over the side on a little parachute. Quick is Express (+15 s on the clock), then On time (+10 s), then Late (+5 s). Clean, quick deliveries build a combo up to x2.

  4. No. 4

    Pocket the stamps

Postage stamps spin in the air between the islands. Each one is worth 25 points and three more seconds, and comes back a while after you take it.

  5. No. 5

    Mind the weather

Thunderclouds drift across the routes and flash now and then. Fly into one and the lightning jolts you: the parcel is damaged, the tip takes a dent and your combo breaks. The same goes for clipping a cliff.

  6. No. 6

    Earn your rank

When the clock runs out you get the shift report and a rank stamped in red: Trainee, Courier, Ace Courier, or Sky Postmaster. Then press Space and fly another.

Watch a whole shift

One shift, start to finish, with sound

Flown by the game's own test pilot (the autopilot that plays every build) and recorded frame by frame by Godot's movie maker. Every note you hear was synthesized by the game's build scripts.

The islands

Ten islands, each one a Python script

Every island is one watertight shape, from the grass on top through a soil lip and bands of rock down to a dripping stalactite tip, dressed by a small kit of generators for trees, cottages, a windmill, a lighthouse and more. Hover or tap a postcard to fly in.

Made by code

No downloads. Everything is a script.

Parcel Pilot was built by Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) from a one-paragraph brief: a small Godot game whose every model is a Blender script, built in milestones, with the game checked from the player's own camera after each one.

Every model is a Blender script

26 models and 99 thousand triangles, all built by Python run in Blender 5.1: the biplane, the ten islands, the hoop, the clouds, the balloon, the gulls, even the 3D logo at the top of this page. A shared palette means every color in the game is defined once.

The red air-mail biplane, rendered by the game from its Blender-built model.
# The pilot (blender/assets/plane.py)
body.ico(0.22, "skin",
         loc=(0, -0.66, 1.08))
body.sphere(0.235, "leather",
            loc=(0, -0.68, 1.12))
# ...and his scarf, streaming back
body.torus(0.2, 0.06, "cloth_red",
           loc=(0, -0.66, 0.88))
body.beam((0.05, -0.8, 0.9),
          (0.28, -1.75, 1.02),
          0.12, "cloth_red")

Every sound is synthesized

A small DSP toolkit in Python (oscillators, filters, convolution reverb, a plucked string, FM bells) renders all 19 effects and a 37 second music loop in D major. Loops are built from whole cycles, so they repeat without a click. Have a listen:

A bot plays every build

No milestone counted as done until one command passed every step. Any error or warning in any log fails the whole gate.

  1. Assets every model rebuilds within its triangle budget
  2. Audio no clipping, no DC offset, seamless loops
  3. Import Godot imports everything without a warning
  4. Rules 13 unit tests on tips, grades, combos and ranks
  5. Input real key presses drive the menus and the plane
  6. Bot the autopilot flies a whole shift and delivers
  7. Camera screenshots from the player's own camera, and the frame rate

Greybox to finished

The same moment at every milestone, captured automatically from the player's camera. Drag to compare with the greybox.

The finished game: the biplane over the cloud sea, flying toward Orchard Rest.
The M1 greybox of the same moment: white boxes and flat shapes.
